Joedy Burdett
Candidate for Niagara Falls City Council
Responsible Budgets.
No Surprises.
I am running to bring practical judgment, careful preparation and clear explanations to Niagara Falls City Council.
What I would bring to Council.
My campaign is built around careful financial decisions, a city that works for residents and public business that is understandable and accountable.
Fiscal Responsibility
Understand the full cost, long-term obligations, available alternatives and effect on taxpayers before committing public money.
Read the commitment →Community First
Give consistent attention to neighbourhoods, infrastructure, essential services and economic growth that strengthens the municipal tax base.
Read the commitment →Transparency & Accountability
Explain what Council is deciding, why it is recommended, what it will cost and how residents can participate.
Read the commitment →A practical approach to City Hall.
Many Niagara Falls residents know me through Niagara Tinting. I built that business through practical work, careful spending, fair treatment and a willingness to stand behind my decisions.
Municipal government is not a private business, but taxpayers should still expect financial discipline, proper preparation and clear explanations. Council should understand the future cost of its decisions—not only the announcement made today.
I do not expect every resident to agree with me on every subject. I do believe residents should be able to understand how I reached a position and what information I considered.

The work did not begin with this campaign.
After running for Council in 2022, I continued following meetings, reviewing reports and budgets, raising concerns, making submissions and participating in available public processes.
A campaign promise describes what a candidate hopes to do. A public record shows whether that candidate was willing to prepare and participate before asking for the position.
